ESBC stands for European Senior Bowlers Committee.
We are an organisation who is in charge of organising an European Championships for 50+ tenpin bowlers. 50+ Stands for an age over 50 years old.
Our participants, guests and members of ESBC are welcome to visit this website anytime. Here you can find the last regulations and rules. You can find addresses and telephone numbers and e-mail addresses of representatives. You can also find all results of the last 17 years. Yes, ESBC has a history of 17 European Championships at this moment. We are still going strong, next year a new country the Czech Republic and in 2010 Vienna, Austria for the second time.
The last E.C. was in Nantes, France 2008, more then 800 players were participating and 200 guests were present too. It is a happening of friendships, meeting new friends and a championship. Many of the players participating will never be able to win a medal in honour of their country. Every players plays three days of the seven day the E.C. last.
So there is lots of time to see the beautiful places, museums and landscapes.
Visitors and bowlers who see this information for the first time and want to join our championships can do this through representatives in their own country, for information you can contact our secretary Lia Fievet or your representative.
This site will give you only dry information, we can not bring you the wonderful settings of an 50+ championship. However we hope you can see through this and we hope to see you in a coming European Championships 50+ somewhere in Europe.
